Bruschette Maretti Multigrain – Oregano Flavour |

Bought at:

Foodies, De Waal Road Diep River, Cape Town.

This tasty snack was found at Foodies in Diep River, Cape Town for only R2 ($0,18c) for 70grams! They are crispy oven baked circles with a combination of seasonings and selected grains such as rye, wheat, corn, flaxseed barley flakes, millet and sesame. It can be enjoyed as a standalone snack (like eating crisps), with  something else (egg mayonnaise above) or in a dish. It is a guilt free snack that can be consumed when you feel like nibbling on something.

We were so thrilled to find this treat and if you are in the Cape Town area this is definitely something that should be tried, if not then Bruschette snacks are sold in various stores which are a healthy alternative to crisps.

  • This looks yummy, I want immediately eat this now 🙂

Most of the food sold at Foodies is past its sell by date. Sometimes by up to 2 years! Yet they make no mention of this on their full colour fliers or anywhere in the store.

Hi Elizabeth. My apologies for the delayed reply. Yes I soon discovered that after creating this post which is why I don’t purchase anything from Foodies any longer.
