Last week Thursday we were invited to the Moroccanoil Texture Launch with Global Ambassador Steven Turpin at the Le Grand Vue in Bantry Bay, Cape Town.
The exquiste venue was Le Grand Vue Bantry Bay, Cape Town. The property is absolutely stunning and the view of Cape Town from the property’s yard was breath taking. This will most likely be the most expensive property I will ever step foot in as I did some digging and it is for sale at R49 Million! The venue was so well suited to the Moroccanoil brand as I would expect nothing less. If you’d like to see more of the venue check it out here.
The event started at 3pm but due to work commitments I arrived late and came just in time for the latter part of Steven’s presentation. He was taking everyone through Moroccanoil’s new Texture range and showed us how to style our hair with the products. The new collection consists of Dry Texture Spray, Beach Wave Mousse, and texture clay. I loved how the products gave the models that fuss-free, relaxed tousled look that looks so effortless.
Once the presentation was over we could relax, there were drinks to sip on and snacks to enjoy. I chatted briefly to Steven and he was so kind to make me feel comfortable and encouraged me to have fun the rest of the afternoon.
There was also a mosaic station where you could create your mosaic frame. I thought this was really cool as I hadn’t experienced this at any other event and it was so fun. I took my time and was so happy with the results. We could take our mosaic home where I will be hanging it on one of my walls.
